Excellent USA MADE products- just in time for TAX season and all the paperwork!

Oct 28, 2022

Very solid brass knuckles. Feel nice in hand and got to me quickly. Quality wasn't the best. Looked pretty beat up. Had to take some sanding and buffing wheels to it but other than that they are great. Would purchase again.

Aug 16, 2022

I wear a XXL glove and unfortunately this is too small for my fingers, I may try to modify to fit but I'm not sure if I can due to Considerable difference between finger size and whole size. It's made for a small hand.

These things are awesome. I always wanted a paperweight like this but had few opportunities to get one. Solid, quality construction, brass. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Budk kicks ass! Would buy again! Thanks

These knucks exceeded my expectations. One of my uncles had described his WWI experience of standing knee deep in cold mud in a trench going toe to toe with a big German with "brass knucks and a bolo knife". I just had to have one of each ever since. My mother had a set of brass knucks taped at the bottom to reduce the shock and an old Shrade switchblade with a very weak spring she carried when she worked a second job at nights. I didn't want the switchblade and she wouldn't part with her knucks. Both were mucho illegal in Texas at the time but mama's need over rode her respect for the law. I finally got a 1917 bolo knife repro with original sheath when I found these knucks. They're better than my mom's, fit perfectly and may not need taping. I don't know if they are any more legal but I don't intend using them 'cause I don't like getting that intimate with an angry foeman. I'm pleased as punch with them.

It's very easy to verify whether or not this item is a full half pound of brass. It is not! Weighing on a calibrated scale, it comes in at just over 6.1 oz. I'm not sure why they would advertise it as a full half pound, when it obviously is not. Otherwise, it fits my hand pretty well, and I have an XXL hand. My ring size is 13, and this fits pretty good. All surfaces are very rough, not polished at all. Lots of machine marks. There is an offset ridge inside each finger hole that I am considering smoothing out. Certainly not a decorative piece by any means, due to its roughness and lack of polish. I'm sure it will make for good protection, if ever needed. But, not as ergonomic as I was hoping. See photo.

These heavy solid brass paperweights will score a KO with each throw if landed right. They are small for my X-large hands but I have improvised so that they still have the intended effect. Good buy even for someone with X-large man hands.

Apr 04, 2021

A little small but when used correctly fit perfect. Worked as designed to handle a pesky stack of paper

Mar 20, 2021

The size is perfect, if you dont think so, then you dont know what your doing, or your big in wich case bore out the holes for comfortable look

Oct 16, 2020

The product is of good construction and weight, I own an old pair from 20 yrs ago, these are of the same quality as far as I can tell.

Sep 02, 2020

I don't know why people are complaining about the finger hole size being too small. If anything I thought they could be smaller. These are great tho, worth the cash.

Jul 27, 2020

These are 1/2 lb solid brass. I like the fact that I can custom fit the finger holes to my hand. Most others I have had the holes have been way too big and they fall off. I have normal sized hands for a man and it didn't take much filing in sanding to make them fit each finger perfectly so they will never fall off when I need them most! I'm glad I took the offer and bought two of them!

Jun 28, 2020

When the paperwork gets outta control, flinging to and fro, and you and yours have no where to go! Stop the paper protest with this little heavyweight hello!

Jun 07, 2020

Didn't take anytime at all to get the package . Things are definitely real and WILL NOT DISAPPOINT

Apr 21, 2020

These full brass knucklers are the real thing. I have large than average knuckles so I had to do some enlargement on the two outer rings to accommodate my sizing. Accomplished this by using a heavy duty step drill powered by a cordless drill gun. Then some lite sanding on the two knucklers to get rid of the burrs left over from the step drill bit.

Mar 28, 2020

I have ordered several of these over the past year. Many have been gifted to other paper wranglers. Nice weight, fits well and heavy enough to hold down reams of paper when the windows are open. If you think they are too small for your fingers, then you probably are wearing them incorrectly. Adjust your placement and tag the paper at a different angle.

Mar 15, 2020

A little tight but that means it's a perfect fit and definitely 1/2 pound of solid brass baby!!! I'm honestly considering purchasing a 2nd!!!

Jan 29, 2020

Just wanted your customers of this product to know it is indeed made of heavy solid brass. The question is are the finger holes big enough for most men's fingers to fit? I would say yes. I got my pair recently and although I have been lifting weights for 25 years I can still get my trigger finger and middle finger in the proper holes although a bit tight. I intend to take a bit of wet dry sand paper with a dowel rod and make those two holes just a bit larger but not much and the other 2 finger holes are plenty big. If you are like me and have wanted a pair of these just because basically for your whole life there you go. Enjoy.

Dec 24, 2019

This thing is cold to the Touch and heavy they really work great at keeping paper from blowing away

Dec 08, 2019

Nice chunk of solid brass but finger holes are way to tight and I have slender fingers so I doubt anyone with big man mitts could use these for anything but a paperweight.

Dec 01, 2019

The paper weight is nice. But the finger hole's are to small for my size 11-12. I do like it.

Sep 19, 2019

Solid construction well made But I have Man Hands and couldn’t get my fingers through the holes . Otherwise it’s a nice paper weight

Sep 19, 2019

This is a great conversation piece and “paperweight”. I wear a size 12 ring and about had it stuck on my hand. Honestly, didn’t buy to ever use just added to my weapon collection which is mostly conversation pieces.

Aug 11, 2019

I have been shoping with BUD K for a very long time and have never had a bad experience shopping with them every item has been very well made .and the shiping allways fast and on time

May 26, 2019

I'm very pleased with the product. I can say that the ring sizes are 13, 15, 15, and 13, big enough to fit me comfortably if I need to pound down some paper before arresting this on top of the pile. The design is good and feels good in or on the hand. The look is nice, not an eternally shiny brass but a burnished or vintage kind of thing which I like. Very satisfied.

Feb 28, 2019

Exactly what I needed for a novelty project I'm starting.. Not a cheaply made POS.. Perfect Paperweight for the cost!!
Jan 10, 2019

These are good quality brass knuckles! Am very pleased with this product and definitely recommend them to anyone!
Dec 11, 2018

Nice weight to it. Probably not for those with pretty large hands. Good quality product!
Nov 16, 2018

I was skeptical on buying these, just like some of the other buyers. But, I’m happy with these. Very nice weight and will take care of biz.
Nov 14, 2018

Feb 16, 2018

Finger holes approximately 1" diameter, width is 4.3". Nice weight to it, should work well on paper.
Jan 02, 2018

I was unsure upon buying this because the reviews were pretty divided some good some bad for the price I figured Id just find out for myself and buy a pair its so much better then I thought these paperweights are literally perfect I wasnt expecting perfection by no means but I sure got it I cant find a single bad thing to say as far as being to small I cant see it being to small for anyone youd have to be a caveman for it to be to small its definitely true solid brass no belt buckle pin no gimmicks just a true to what they say and your paper wont go anywhere they are also a lot thicker then I thought with a nice weight witch is good they are also very very symmetrical mine didnt have machine marks these are beyond worth the asking price honestly I would have payed double for this if that was the price their just that good (: hope this helps ( very Satisfied )
Mar 02, 2017

Very nice but if you have large hands probably wouldn't buy. The one time I had to use them my pinkie hurt for a little while after.
Feb 17, 2017

I ordered 2 of these. Great quality, awesome product. Can't beat the price. Now my paperwork won't blow away. Thanks Budk!
Feb 16, 2017

Uneven casting, decent weight, finger holes need some modification (widening, making them fit you, ect). I use brass knuckles pretty often, Id suggest buying the alumiunum ones instead. I liked those better. They dont have any weight to them though so your gonna have to cut notches in the impact areas in order to cut.
Jan 29, 2017

Jan 08, 2017

These awesome. It might not fit men with sausage fingers ( you know who you are), but it fit mine like a glove. Mine was even bright and polished. I'm sure it will patina over time. These things will WRECK your paperwork, and you will be glad that you have them.

May 14, 2016

I received this paperweight as a gift. I live in Washington, DC. Having a paperweight in this city is a great idea. I sure don't want to be in some strange neighborhood with paperwork spilling out of my wallet.
May 04, 2016

Heavy, good quality, better than most paperweights. I little tight fitting, but not too bad. I bought two, & would buy again.
Mar 26, 2016

This paperweight is a beautifully manufactured replica that wouldn't look out of place in a 1920's speakeasy. I bought two of these late last week, one as a gift and another for myself, and they are both solid pieces of brass that would fit small to medium sized hands well. I plan on using mine as a weight for my mail bin on the coffee table.
Mar 01, 2016

They fit nice on my hands and are not overly heavy either they can really hold down your paperwork.
Jan 08, 2016

Just got my Brass Paperweight in the mail today!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!! I have average size hands and it fits well, If I want to help hold down those hard to handle papers! It does have some machine marks on it that some people may not like. But personally I don't care! I think it makes it look more broken in and tougher! It has a great old school look! It's much more than what I was hoping for!!!!!!! If I could give more than five stars I would!!!!!!! Thanks a lot BUDK!!!!!!! I will definitely order again!!!!!!!

Jun 25, 2015

I am a collector of only brass made knuckles and these are my favorite pair. Ive bought a pair of ergonomically fitted ones for $135.00 and while they do fit better, I love that these are the classics, fit very well, and have the perfect weight. These are like a doorknob, the real deal! Pick up a piece of history here!
Dec 21, 2014

Best "paperweight" on the market. This is awesome for laying down "paper" and making sure that "paper" stays down.
Dec 18, 2014

I punched myself in the head with the 'paperweight' when I woke up I was like Wow that was cool.
Dec 09, 2014

Great paperweight. The holes were a bit small but nothing a Dremel took couldn't fix. Not the bright brass as shown but more dull which I prefer.
Dec 01, 2014

Thanks for the awesome brass weights. I was skeptical about the UPS delivering them to the USPS first and then USPS delivering them to me.. However, I got them after 5 days of placing the order. I am very happy with your catalogs, products, services, and prices. I am definitely ordering more from you in the future.
Nov 21, 2014

this brass knuckle is really powerful. I've tested on myself hitting to my arm and it got so hurt.. also, I dropped it accidentally while I was playing with it.. it got hit on my foot and I almost got hurt. hahaha. anyway, please buy this knuckle when you guys want and brass knuckle for your personal collection. I guarantee you will like this one! hahaha
Jul 31, 2014

Jul 30, 2014

Feels solid. Good weight. Holds paper down like crazy. Only complaint is that they are a bit too big to wear. I have decent sized hands too, and they are still a bit uncomfortable. Nevertheless, a good product.
Jun 01, 2014

this paper weight looks great on my desk plus I like the holes in it to hang paper clips off it~~~~~~~ and its nice and heavy to hold down my papers~~~~~ thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mar 29, 2014

A well cast chunk of solid bronze. I have huge hands and these fit perfectly. You could easily shatter a jaw with these, but since its only a paperweight...;)
Sep 16, 2013

The brass knuckles were delivered in a timely matter. It was impressive because of the weight of it. The only concern that i had was the brass knuckles was a bit big for my hands.
Aug 08, 2013

I really recommend these to everyone, I don't think these get the attention they deserve. First thing to point out: it doesn't say made in china anywhere, which isn't much and who knows where its made, but I like that idea. This item isn't a "belt buckle" and I do believe it is actual brass, I've give it some use and the scratches are still the same brassy color. It looks real, feels real, and it is real! As for recreational use (non violent of course) it depends on the user on how to hold it, what's comfortable for one person differs to another
Jul 10, 2013

Very nice Brass Paperweight and real deal Brass Knuckles... 1/2 pond brass. I hit this Brass Paperweight and f***-up your jaw .
Jul 04, 2013

Nice weight to them. hold down alot of papers. nice fit. got some more paper i need another one soon.
Jul 03, 2013

better than I had expected. So close to the originals. holds down papers just fine. heavier than I had thought they would be, which is a good thing. hoping to get myself another soon. would make a great gift.
May 30, 2013

This paperweight :) is awesome, much bigger than I thought it would be! shoulda got two!
Apr 03, 2013

Great buy! I bought these to hold down those "pesky papers" and they work great. I have large fingers also and the fit perfectly, bought some for a few of my friends and can't wait to get my second pair
Feb 20, 2013

I bought these brass knuckles as a display novelty, not as a weapon, that being the use for which they were originally intended. However, if you are ever in a situation in which your life is being threatened, brass knuckles will definitely even the playing field! These knuckles are the same size as the originals.
Jan 25, 2013

i bought these on impulse and after i made the order, i got worried that they might be crap or too small. so i read the reviews on them and when they came in they were everything i had hoped for. great product, and would do buissness with again. thanx Budk!
Oct 20, 2012

I love these brass knuckles they fit just right and are heavy duty. Well worth the price for them happy once again thanks to Budk.
May 21, 2012

I'm a Private Detective, and I can tell you, in my line of work there are plenty of opportunities for "papers" to get out of hand.
May 12, 2012

These are great quality brass knuckles. I thought they were going to be s*** quality, but no these brass knuckles are great.
Apr 02, 2012

I do not usually take time to review products but these paper weights are awesome. They are exactly what you are looking for, or rather what you didnt think you could still get. Quality construction, real brass, the real deal. I have slightly larger than average hands and they fit great. I can tell they would be effective for a variety of hand sizes from medium to slightly larger than mine. I bought a few sets, and the comments about the shine are correct. Some are bright and others are more dull. Dont worry, they are brass, they will naturally patina on their own.
Nov 20, 2011

I put some clear nail polish on it. Gleams like gold and prevents corrosion. It holds down all the papers I type and if anyone breaks in the House I can show them how well it holds things down.
These are great. Good size, certainly hard. These would probably kill a man if you hit him in the head.
Oct 18, 2011

Awesome brass knuckles and I don't know what everybody is talking about them not being shiny, there brass knuckles there not meant to look pretty. Regardless I think they look fine.
Jun 19, 2011

Well like everyone said it isn't as gleaming as in the picture, but i would have to say these are a pretty good brass knuckles/paperweight. When mine arrived it was a little chipped on the bottom, but if you want a pair of brass knuckles that will last this is the one and i am very pleased by them.
May 09, 2011

Ordered this item 4-30-2011 not sure of the quality, it got here today 5-9-2011. It's a durable Solid piece of Brass, good weight to it, it'll definitely hold down your "Papers".
Apr 05, 2011

Just got mine and it is exactly what i expected. Not as shining as i would have hoped but one u put some clear nail polish on it and it starts to sparkle a little. Just a suggestion. Thanks Budk. you have yet to disappoint me with product or order.
Aug 23, 2010

A true gentleman's paperweight. It has good form and has a good, sturdy construction. No, it's not the gleaming paperweight in the picture, but I think the little flaws help give them character. They don't come at a bad price neither. Thanks guys.
Aug 16, 2010

This thing is the best of its kind. I haven't found a better paperweight in my lifetime. It will hold down any amount of paper you put under it.
Jul 30, 2010

They are a little rough, not exactly the perfect gleaming polished piece you see in the picture. but they make a great gift and the fit well you know for "holding down papers".
Jan 05, 2009

Nov 28, 2018

Solid and well build. My only complaint is the finger holes are a little small and it is a little uncomfortable to hold. Other than that should do nicely and keeping the wind from blowing my paperwork away.
Jul 03, 2015

I bought this in a shipment a few weeks ago and I love it. I only have one complaint and it was about the scratch and dent sale items that came along with this shipment. I loved the fixed blade set that came with the dent sale but the swords were three of the same (which the ad said would be different swords. I was expecting a cane sword or an anime sword or something.) And the pocket knives were just some items that you could buy for a dollar somewhere because they were so cheaply made. (I threw all of them away, because I'd feel embarrassed to even give them to someone.) I still love this site and I will continue to buy stuff from here, but I'll never participate in a scratch and dent sale again. I wasn't expecting the world but just some better stuff then I received and I really felt cheated. Hopefully this'll be the only bad review I give for this site because there are still some things on here that I want to buy.
Apr 17, 2015

When I bought this I wasn't expecting as much as I got. It is very well constructed, only thing I can complain about is it does have a lot of machine marks on parts of the inside, other than that its awesome!
Feb 15, 2015

the brass paper weight is very nice but it does need a little bit of dremel work to make it just right. that is no big deal I would buy again for sure.
Oct 09, 2014

GREAT QUALITY, HEAVY BRASS, FINGER HOLES A BIT SMALL FOR MY HANDS. AND, I DON'T HAVE LARGE HANDS.
Jul 08, 2014

This paperweight has a very good weight, the finish is more brassy than gold as it looks in the picture (witch i like) however the finish was not nearly as nice as pictured, (tiny bubbles, machining marks, ect.) so know that before you order. Note, these are uncomfortable the first time you put them on, however they will feel better the more you wear them. I would rate these 3.5
Apr 05, 2014

This paper weight is killer! It is cast brass but it is solid. The paper weight has a very nice color to it and my friends really like it. On a windy day, it will easily hold down paper. I used it to hold down a tarp I had laid out for a picnic and it worked fantastically! The reason why I gave it a 4/5 is because the paper weight I ordered had these ridges the inside that mad it uncomfortable to transport. I easily fixed it by filing them down and now I could hold it all day. Also, the cast brass isn't the most even or symmetrical, but it still looks and works great. It is totally worth buying!
Feb 12, 2014

This is solid brass, that appears to be casted. Nevertheless, it is solid, sturdy and very good at holding down those papers. Yet, small for large hands. I love mine.
Nov 20, 2013

I'm going to go with Dan from Miami's comments: This is a solid chunk of metal and I think it is actually brass. It's a rough cast and totally unmarked. It fits good but might be a little small for guys with mitts on the larger size; I have small hands and a couple of the holes were a good tight fit. I would definitely recommend this for holding down those pesky papers!
Jul 14, 2013

This designator is perfect! projected use fits the situation perfectly! my lady friend finds them very confortable and a great fit! i need more as 'friends" desire them constantly! The finger "holes" could be a little larger but as others have detailed a 'perfect-fit' can always be obtained w/concentration when ur stackin paper..
Apr 25, 2013

They are definitely a tight fit on the fingers. I might have to ream them out a little. This paper weight only weighs 6.5 ounces and not what I would call approx. 1/2 pound. Still, it is a pretty cool to have it weighing down the bills on the desk.
Apr 20, 2013

I got these about a month ago and thay are real brass there heavy and solid gust like you want them to be . My only complaint is I have realy big hands and the finger holes are a little to small .but I also have trouble finding gloves that fit me .but for the average person these are a great buy I'm gonna try to sand the holes on mine to make them fit a little better .these are worth the money much better than aluminum or steel knuckles thank u bud k
Feb 05, 2013

This is no toy, you can bust someone up with this. Nice finish, nice brass. 1/2 lb of don't f#*k with me. I ll buy another, great deal.
Sep 21, 2011

Another what you see is what you get except the one you will receive is not all shiny and bling bling. A little larger than I would have liked but still great for holding down those pesky papers.
Feb 01, 2011

Ok, the brass paperweight comes in handy sometimes if you need it, but once i got it i tried it out and punched a piece of wood. and of course the wood dented. i feel sorry for whoever i will hit in the temple. ouch. but when you punch something your pinky gets caught and it hurts. but for small hands it hurts even worse.
Feb 15, 2017

They aren't perfect, they have some machine marks and the knuckles aren angled on the "impact surface" and the palm rest is uneven on mine but I got these for the novelty aspect. They are small my hands are small-medium (about 7" from my wrist to the tip of my middle finger and my fingers are 2 1/2" in circumference or less) but these are still a bit small when worn properly my pointer finger knuckle rests on the brass without any space like you'd want in these. Hope this helps someone
